Principal
Charles brings over 39 years of accounting and audit experience to his position. Charles became a member of the Parente Randolph team through a merger with Stokes & Hinds, LLC of Pittsburgh. He specializes in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, insolvency, construction, business planning, financial services and SEC auditing and reporting.
Prior to joining the Pittsburgh firm, Charles spent 28 years as an audit partner with a national firm, specializing in the financial services industry. His wealth of experience includes litigation consulting, and he has testified as both an expert and fact witness for bankruptcy, criminal cases and civil courts.

Charles served on the PICPA Pittsburgh Chapter Executive Committee for two terms. Nationally, he was appointed to committees serving the Thrift and Banking industries, and served on the AICPA Savings Institutions Committee.

Charles serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
Education
Charles earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Duquesne University.
