Gene has significant experience in auditing, accounting and consulting for institutions of higher education and governmental entities. Prior to joining Parente Randolph in 1977, Gene was employed by a large international firm of certified public accountants for approximately three years.

Gene graduated from Penn State University and has taken additional courses at the University of Maryland. His education has been supplemented by various continuing professional education courses offered by a variety of professional organizations. Gene meets and substantially exceeds the continuing professional education requirements of Government Auditing Standards (Yellow Book) issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.
