Ron’s area of expertise is closely held businesses with a special focus on accounting and business consulting.
Ron’s entire professional career of over 38 years has been in public accounting. Prior to joining Parente Randolph, Ron was with an international accounting firm and was a co-founding partner in his own firm. He has testified as an expert witness before various federal, state and local courts.
Professional Affiliations
Ron is a member of the American (AICPA), Pennsylvania (PICPA) and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. He has served on various PICPA State and local Chapter Committees in addition to the AICPA and PICPA Councils, PICPA Executive Committee and as PICPA Treasurer, Vice President, President-Elect and President. He is a past President of the Lehigh Valley Chapter. He continues to serve on various PICPA State Committees and is a member of the AICPA Virtual Grassroots Panel.
Education
Ron earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Joseph’s University and has supplemented his education with a variety of continuing education courses.
Community Involvement
Ron serves as a member on the Board of Associates of Muhlenberg College, the Board of Ambassadors of Lehigh Carbon Community College, the Steering Committee and Budget Committee of Allentown Central Catholic High School, and on the President’s Council of DeSales University. He is a member of the Estate Planning council of Lehigh Valley.
